Extract vocals from song with kn0ck0ut VST

Another question our users often ask is “how to extract voice from songs ?”, “how can i make an acapella of this song” ? etc..
Vocal isolation is a black science, it’s the voodoo of audio processing… or just a good old spectral substraction !

The principle is basic, find a part of the song without the voice, and substract it from a part with the voice, so you are left with only the voice part. The ideal situation is where you have the normal song (voice + music) and an instrumental version of the same song.

Delay presets experiment with BlueDelay VST

One of the most used effect in music production / sound design / FX is the DELAY.
Many VST delay plugins are available, from very expensive to absolutely free.
Wavosaur can host VST plugins, with his VST rack, and it also can load presets ! single preset FXP or presrt bank (FXB)

Vocoder in Wavosaur, with freeware VST/DX plugins

You want a robot voice, a daft-punk-funky-groovy voice effect, you want it you need it.
you need a vocoder ! For quick and dirty vocoderization, you can set up Wavosaur with some cool freeware plugins and get the job done.
